The mustard seed oil, which is pressed from mustard seeds, has a pungent flavour and has warming and circulatory properties. Mustard oil is suitable for massage, especially if you have slowed blood circulation, cold extremities, aching loins or joints, tired feet, or feel tense. The oil has a warming and relaxing effect, stimulates the sweat glands, opens the pores and helps to remove toxins and excess salts. It also nourishes and moisturises, has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, helps to heal minor wounds and cuts, and softens and moisturises chapped lips. Mustard oil masks add vitality to the hair and can stimulate hair growth.
