Rasayana is a branch of Ayurveda for longevity. Certain Ayurvedic herbs are recognized to have beneficial effects on longevity and healthy skin and hair and are therefore known as rasāyana. Rasāyana is a compound of the Sanskrit terms rasa (essence) and ayana (path), so rasāyana means "path to essence".
While creating our brand Rasayana Biocosmesi®, we took inspiration from the beauty and diversity of the Indian subcontinent, the homeland of Ayurveda, the colors of the traditional Holī festival, the graphic patterns of batik canvases, the textures of henna tattoos and the rituals of traditional ceremonies.
The company's claim - "long life for skin and hair" - is a clear reference to our name, as our ecobio cosmetic formulas, rich in Ayurvedic herbs, are designed to prolong the health of skin and hair.
