What is an oil mouthwash?

An oil mouth rinse gives a pleasant, fresh sensation in the mouth. It removes pollutants released during the night and clears mucus and secretions from the head.

Oil Pulling also increases the mucous membrane's protective function against bacterial and viral penetration. Useful for periodontal disease, gingivitis, neck tension or jaw problems.

How to use

It is best to rinse with the oil daily as part of your morning routine, immediately after getting up. It can also be done as a gum repair treatment over a period of 3 weeks, or even on separate days when you are feeling well.

Place 1 tablespoon of oil in your mouth and pull it over your teeth, rinsing for about 5-10 minutes. The oil will change colour to whitish and become liquid.

When you are ready, spit it out onto a napkin and throw it in the bin. Then scrub your tongue with copper tongue cleaner, brush your teeth and rinse your mouth with a glass of warm water.
