Ambuprash - herbal jam, recommended by Ayurveda to support optimal water metabolism and pancreatic function while following a diabetic diet. An increase in cholesterol and sugar disorders is caused by an unhealthy lifestyle, excessive consumption of foods rich in fat, improper sugar levels and water absorption in the pancreas. This results in impaired insulin production, diabetes mellitus, obesity, arteriosclerosis, tissue edema and dysfunction, body hydration, thirst, frequent urination, Candida infection and weakness.
Ayurvedic herbal elixirs improve nutrition of body tissues (dhatu) and purification of body systems (srotamsi). They are part of a rejuvenating and revitalizing therapy (rasayana) for body and mind. Traditionally, they have it with a cup of warm milk or water, used in Ayurvedic medicine as a preparatory medium (anupama) to prepare, use, direct and better absorb the health effects of herbs. Other media that enhance the medicinal function of the herb (vehicle) are honey, cane or green syrup, clarified butter (ghee) or oil.
We recommend using a maximum of two herbal elixirs at a time. During the day or week, replace more elixirs if they normalize or mind balance good body. It is best to use only one elixir, one hour before a meal. For a more active body-mind building therapy, elixirs should be used for a longer period of time, from 1 to 3 months, the time indicated on the dosage label.
Because of its sattvic properties, the Ayurvedic pharmaceutical system recognizes lukewarm or boiled milk as a necessary ingredient in health recipes. Milk further reduces the heat of the Pitta dosha and calms the emotions. Milk is a food and tonic for people with a predominance of Vata dosha. For people with sensitive digestion and a slow metabolism, it is recommended to add as much ginger, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon or nutmeg to the milk as possible to improve digestion.
